What Is Avowed?

Avowed is a first-person action-RPG that takes place in the Living Lands, an island in the world of Eora, which some people will know from the Pillars of Eternity series. You don’t need to be familiar with any previous games, though. You play as a character who has come to the Living Lands to investigate a plague that’s spreading throughout the island.

The Living Lands is monster-infested, of course, and you can fend off enemies using magical spells, swords, and even guns. You’ll pick up companions on your journey and make all sorts of choices about how to proceed when forks in the road appear.
