Rashmika Mandanna has featured in some of the buzziest pan-Indian titles. Between Pushpa 2: The Rule and Chhaava, she has managed to grab headlines with her roles. Now, the actress is working on her next project, Thama.

Rashmika Mandanna is shooting for Thama in Ooty

Rashmika took to her social media handle to announce that she has officially begun shooting for her upcoming film Thama in the hills of Ooty, Tamil Nadu. She shared a snap of a trees in a forest and a hand-heart. She wrote, “Ooty for a couple of days…” along with today’s date and “#Thama.”

Rashmika is gearing up for her introduction in Maddock Films’ horror-comedy universe. Thama will join a line-up of films that includes the Stree franchise, Munjya, and the Bhediya franchise. Directed by Aditya Sapotdar, she will star alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in a film about vampires. The plot reportedly revolves around a love story set against vampire legends from ancient India. 

Earlier, Rashmika had shared a glimpse from the sets of Thama. The actress was on a night shoot. Tagging Ayushmann, Aditya and Amar Kaushik, she wrote, “Shooting nights for the next couple of days. So the only posts and stories you’ll get of us is of either the moon or the camera lights, or the stars (which in our city is impossible to see).” 

Rashmika Mandanna’s latest and upcoming films

Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in this year’s Eid release, Sikandar with Salman Khan. Apart from Thama, Rashmika’s slate of upcoming projects includes Kubera alongside Dhanush. She is also set to reprise her role in the highly anticipated Pushpa 3 with Allu Arjun. She is also exploring diverse roles in The Girlfriend and Rainbow.
