Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has decided to postpone his Bollywood Big One UK tour, which was supposed to take place on May 4 and 5. Sharing a new poster on Instagram featuring Sara Ali Khan, Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Kriti Sanon, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, and Maniesh Paul, Salman announced the news with postponed marked across the tour artwork. He shared that, given the heartbreaking events in Kashmir, it didn’t feel right to continue with the celebrations. Fans who were eagerly waiting for the shows will have to hold on a little longer, as new dates will be revealed soon.
In his heartfelt note, Salman mentioned that the decision came after much thought and with a heavy heart. He thanked his fans for their understanding, admitting that while it’s disappointing, mourning together is more important right now. His message ended with a promise that they’ll be back when the time feels right. His fans, though upset, flooded the comments section with messages of support and love.
The tragedy behind this decision took place on April 22 in Pahalgam’s Baisaran Valley, where terrorists reportedly targeted tourists based on their religion, killing around 26 people. The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba, later claimed responsibility for the horrific attack. The devastating news has shaken the country deeply, with grief pouring in from across the nation.
