K-drama star Park Bo Gum recently shared a light-hearted story about being “ghosted” by fellow actor Lee Jun Young. The two collaborated on My Name Is Gabriel, though they had no overlapping scenes and met only twice — once during script reading and later at the wrap party.
On the latest episode of his late-night talk show The Seasons, where Lee Jun Young and actress Jung Eun Ji appeared as guests to promote their upcoming rom-com Pump Up the Healthy Love, Park Bo Gum opened up about the incident. While reminiscing about their early days in the entertainment industry, Park jokingly recalled, “I remember exchanging numbers with Lee Jun Young and later texting him, saying, ‘It was nice meeting you.’ But I never got a reply.”

The actor added with a smile that he initially thought he might have saved the wrong number but later realized it was correct — confirming that he had indeed been ghosted. According to TenAsia, the story drew laughter from both the guests and the audience.
Joining the banter, Jung Eun Ji revealed that she too often gets left on read by Lee Jun Young. A flustered Lee tried to defend himself by confessing that he had over 999 unread messages and rarely checked his direct messages.

Lee Jun Young and Jung Eun Ji’s latest project Pump Up the Healthy Love is set for release on April 30, 2025. The romantic comedy follows Do Hyun Joong played by Lee, a passionate gym owner determined to help anxious clients rebuild their confidence, and Lee Mi Ran played by Jung, a woman seeking healing after a painful breakup.

Meanwhile, Park Bo Gum, best known for his role as Yang Gwan Sik in When Life Gives You Tangerines, continues to charm audiences as the host of The Seasons.
