Harry Potter fame Rupert Grint has welcomed his second child with partner Georgia Groome. The actor took to social media to announce the arrival of their daughter, Goldie G Grint. Sharing an adorable click of the little one, he wrote, “’Secret Child Slightly Revealed’… Introducing Goldie G. Grint. A 10/10 baby (so far)… Thanks again to the amazing Alex Digisu for always delivering.”

Rupert shared a photo of baby Goldie sleeping, while wearing a top with her name on it. Fans took to the comments to congratulate the couple, while many expressed shocks to Rupert for keeping it a secret. The comment section was also flooded with heartwarming responses from Potterheads, who left no stone unturned to write hearty references from the Potterverse.

Rupert and Georgia had previously welcomed their first child, Wednesday G Grint, in May 2020. Rupert had shared the photo of holding baby Wednesday in his arms, as he revealed the name of his daughter. They welcomed Goldie five years after welcoming Wednesday. As the family likes keeping things private, Rupert and Georgia’s first statement after the arrival of Wednesday read, “Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl. We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time.”

Rupert has also been in the headlines time and again, for his take on author JK Rowling’s statements about transgender people. Calling her his “auntie” once, Rupert had said, “I don’t necessarily agree with everything my auntie says, but she’s still my auntie. It’s a tricky one.”

Daniel Radcliffe had also opened up on Rowling’s statements. Contradicting the same, he had said, “Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people and goes against all advice given by professional health care associations who have far more expertise on this subject matter than either Jo or I.”

On the professional front, Rupert was last seen in Servant. He will next be seen in Nightborn.
