Chris Martin Lifts BTS Jin At Coldplays Seoul Concert

BTS members Kim Namjoon and Kim Seokjin had the time of their lives at Coldplay’s last concert in Seoul on Friday evening. The photos and videos from the concert that have gone viral show Jin on stage with Chris Martin while Namjoon looks at them happily.

Jin joined Chris on stage and was surprised when the Coldplay frontman lifted him up and twirled him. The BTS member could not stop laughing. They also sang Chris’ songs, and he thanked Jin in Korean. Not just this, the eldest member of the South Korean boyband spoke to the audience and assured that BTS will be back soon. Later, Chris said, “Coldplay is leaving Korea but soon BTS will come back so that’s good. Everybody’s only watching our show because you guys are unavailable right now.”

Thanking Jin, Chris said, “We are so grateful to you, my brother. Thank you for introducing us to BTS. Thank you for being so kind to us. Thank you for singing with us today. We love you always.”

Some videos also showed Namjoon among the audience dancing as Chris sang. He wore a white T-shirt paired with a black hoodie, trousers and a beanie. Namjoon later shared a photo where Chris and he can be seen posing with South Korean rapper PSY. Earlier this week, Jin made another appearance at Coldplay’s South Korea concert, marking his first concert after military discharge.

Jin made a surprise entry at the concert in Seoul. The K-pop idol arrived on stage holding a “Pick me, please. Can I sing Astronaut with you?” Chris Martin read the poster and went on to bow and kneel on stage as Jin followed suit. The adorable moment left fans cheering.

The Coldplay frontman asked Jin to introduce himself. Jin said, “My team is BTS,” to which Chris replied, “Ok. I heard of you guys. And we are Coldplay, the second-best band in the world. BTS may be number 1, I think.” To this, Jin replied, “Oh no! I don’t think so.”
