Jennifer Aniston’s production house is reportedly set to make a remake of the 1980 movie 9 to 5. The actress is eyeing Zendaya, Ariana Grande and Sydney Sweeney for the three leading roles. They were previously played by Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda.
According to recent reports by a leading Hollywood portal, Aniston will co-produce the movie and star in it. It hasn’t been reported which role Jennifer would take up. However, the makers are in talks to give us the new generation Doralee Rhodes, Violet Newstead and Judy Bernly soon.
Aniston reportedly already has a well-written script in hand. She wants to choose Zendaya, Ariana and Sydney as she feels these actors can do comedy well. Reports also suggest that the actors are also being considered due to their strong fan bases.
While the official confirmation awaits, it would be interesting to witness an Euphoria reunion between Zendaya and Sydney. Ariana Grande, who recently starred in Wicked, may also fit in well.
