Saif Ali Khan was stabbed and sustained six injuries while trying to safeguard his kids when an intruder entered his home. While the actor underwent a surgery and returned home yesterday, the cops are still on with their investigation of what went down on January 16.
According to recent reports, Mumbai Police informed that the guards at Saif Ali Khan’s home were sleeping when the intruder entered their premises. Cops also revealed that the accused Shariful Islam Shehzad alias Vijay Das directly entered from the main entrance. No CCTV cameras were installed in that area.
Another police official was quoted saying that the intruder climbed up the compound wall of the actor’s residence and found that the two security guards were sleeping. The accused removed his shoes and switched off his phone to avoid making any noise.
The details came to light after Mumbai police conducted an hour worth of investigation with the accused.
