Kartik Aaryan found a new fan base as Rooh Baba in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and 3. However, fans have often posed questions about Akshay Kumar’s absence from the franchise. The first instalment of the film directed by Priyadarshan was released in 2007 and it was a massive hit.
In a recent interview, Akshay was asked by a fan why wasn’t he a part of the subsequent films. He said, “Beta mujhe nikaal dia tha (I was removed).”
During the fan interaction session, he was also asked about why he is not doing comedy films more often. To this, he responded, “That’s true. I have done less comedies. I have done a lot of social films, whether it’s Sarfira, Airlift, Rustom, Padman and Toilet Ek Prem Katha. Because I wanted to do it. I’d done a lot of comedies in the past. Every person has a mindset at a particular time, what he wants to do. So, I wanted to do that. But now, I’ve signed about 2-3 comedies which I am filming like Bhooth Bangla, Welcome to the Jungle and Housefull 5.”

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar will soon be seen in Sky Force with Sara Ali Khan and debutant Veer.
