Baltimore Ravens linebacker Jaylon Ferguson kicked the bucket at 26 years of age, the group reported Wednesday morning.
“We are significantly disheartened by the shocking passing of Jaylon Ferguson,” the club said in a proclamation. “He was a sort, conscious young fellow with a major grin and irresistible character. We express our genuine sympathies to Jaylon’s loved ones as we grieve a daily existence lost far too early.”
Baltimore police answered a home in the 400 block of Ilchester Ave. in Baltimore for a report of a sketchy passing at around 11:25 p.m. ET Tuesday and found a lethargic Ferguson being treated by surgeons, a Baltimore police representative affirmed to NFL.com. Ferguson never recovered awareness and was articulated dead on the scene by the doctors.
No indications of injury were found and injustice isn’t thought as of now, Baltimore police added.
A third-balance pick of Louisiana Tech in 2019, Ferguson played 38 games with the Ravens, including 10 beginnings, and recorded 67 handles and 4.5 sacks more than three seasons.
“It’s with extraordinary trouble that we declare the death of Baltimore Ravens LB Jaylon Ferguson,” Ferguson’s representative Safarrah Lawson said in an explanation. “The family requests your requests and protection during this trying time.”
Said Ravens mentor John Harbaugh in an explanation: “Jaylon was a decent hearted, delicate individual who cherished his family and his group. He was a delight to chat with and be around each day. You generally needed to see and converse with ‘Ferg.’ Our requests and our assistance go to his loved ones. Our hearts are with his Spirit. R.I.P., Jaylon.”
